CHILDRENS MUSICALS … are professional-level stage productions written especially for children ages 4 to 18 to perform in and enjoy. Each of these shows is like a "mini Broadway musical". They are not audience participation or sing-along shows. We are introducing children to the kind of shows that they will later see in professional theatre, dinner theatres, Broadway and off-Broadway. All shows can be cast with adults, children or a combination. For example, when our Alice in Wonderland was successfully presented off-Broadway at New York's Orpheum Theatre, the cast was an entirely adult one. When it was later presented in the Theatre in the Park in Queens, New York, it was an all-children cast of mostly 11-13 year olds. |
